Our client, a prominent and forward-thinking organization in the banking industry, is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect (80-100%) to join their team. With a strong emphasis on digital transformation, our client is driving the modernization of their financial services infrastructure by adopting cutting-edge cloud technologies to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer engagement across their platforms.
Your New Role
As the Technical Lead, you will drive the transformation of our complex, distributed application landscape from on-premises infrastructure to the Azure Cloud. You will coordinate the phased migration, which will involve either porting existing applications or developing new ones, as well as integrating third-party solutions.
You will design and develop the future cloud architecture, converting existing JEE Java applications into cloud-native solutions or migrating them to other suitable containerized environments in the cloud.
You will work closely with our DevOps and operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient cloud migration process.
You will support the selection and implementation of new technologies and platforms to ensure the long-term scalability and flexibility of our cloud solution.
What You Bring
Extensive experience in architecting and modernizing complex application landscapes, ideally in the financial industry
Deep expertise in Azure Cloud, particularly in designing and building cloud infrastructures for enterprise applications
Strong experience in developing Java-based applications, especially with Spring Boot and JEE, preferably in environments utilizing WebLogic Server and Oracle databases
Proven track record as a technical leader who can inspire teams and successfully manage challenging migration and transformation projects
Agile, solution-oriented work style, with excellent collaboration skills in interdisciplinary teams
