IT Supporter – 100% onsite in Basel
If you are an experienced German/English speaking IT Supporter in the Basel area, we are always excited to speak with you! For this specific vacancy, our client, a technology company that provides services to global companies in the pharmaceutical and industrial sectors, is looking for an experienced IT Supporter to work onsite in Basel. We are looking for someone who can start ASAP and work onsite in Basel 5 days per week. If you have the required background, please don’t hesitate to apply !
What your tasks include:
- Identification and resolution of anomalies within an industrial setting (1st/2nd level assistance)
- Act as point of contact for computer-related problems from staff
- Supervise the operational effectiveness of the company's desktop infrastructure and offer recommendations for enhanced efficiency Assessment, formulation, and enhancement of industrial solutions
- Address software, hardware, and device concerns raised by end users
- Deployment, setup, and continual optimization of desktop software and hardware
- Provide assistance for standard Client technologies, including initial troubleshooting for Exchange, and managing modifications to Active Directory (AD) accounts
- Engage with customers/end users as needed, keeping them updated on incident progress, and providing advance notice of upcoming changes or agreed-upon downtime
Your background:
- 2+ years of experience working as an IT Supporter
- Experience supporting Windows OS (7&10), O365 and applications and providing PC/laptop/mobile/software support
- 2+ years of experience working with Active Directory and Exchange
- Preference is for candidates with experience within pharma / industry and GMP/GxP knowledge
- Highly motivated to provide a positive experience to end-customers with technical issues
- Fluent German / English
- Candidates must be able to provide a clean criminal record extract not older than 3 months
